Ten Bible Verses about the Christian Work Ethic

Many people erroneously assume that Christianity is about equal outcomes. Thus, many people erroneously go about thinking something along the lines of ‘everyone should have, everyone should eat, everyone should be provided for even when they fail to earn these things.’

This is simply not Christian and is contrary to what is taught through Scripture.

There is an ethic to Christianity, and it teaches that you get the fruit of your labor.

Additionally, the Book of Ezekiel shows us that God is not simply a nice guy who welcomes all into heaven no matter what. Rather, the One True God is a God of justice, and justice means giving to each that which has been earned or repaying each that which he or she has acquired through his or her own actions.

Go read the Book of Ezekiel for yourself to learn about the justice of God, and check out this post to read about idolatry of the heart.
